What is my personal experience with STX putters? Although it may sound odd, I view this more as a training tool than a putter. I say that because this club has greatly aided in the improvement of my stoke and feel.
But not necessarily a better game overall on the green. In other words, I’ve noticed that I’m hitting other putters that I never hit very well. With this putter, you can always tell when you’ve hit it squarely and when you haven’t because of where the weight is placed.
Additionally, the overall feel is fantastic. The main issue I have with the club is that it is very simple to play from a distance of about 10 feet. The ball is very challenging to get to the hole beyond 10 feet.
In this article, I will discuss what happened to the STX putters, and why they are still good. So stuck around until the end to find out what you’ve been looking for.

Currently, STX produces putters under three different brand names: ProFIT, Envision TR, and Sync Series (SS). There are currently nine different putter models available (the ProFIT 4, 5, and 6, a single Envision TR model, and the SS 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). What Happened To STX Putters?
It was once a respectable brand. Face insert putters were created by STX almost 40 years ago, were popular on major tours in the early 1980s, and some players were still using them in the very early 2000s.
But nowadays they are not very popular in the field because they have stopped production and now the used ones are only available in the market.
